3 Steps to Register:

  • Register with FreestyleCanada & FreestyleAlberta
  • Download TeamSnap
  • Purchase the required ski resort passes (consider buying early bird passes if possible).

Key Dates:

  • Registration Opens September 21st
  • On-snow training starts mid-December

Prior to enrollment, discuss the potential for switching to the Freestylerz Team with Coach Curtis Sinton.

Previous season/new Freestylerz athletes:

Athletes new to CAFSC will complete an on-snow trial to be accepted into this program. Please register in Freestylerz for this on snow trial.

DO NOT register for this program before having a conversation with Coach Curtis Sinton.

    Confused about which team to register for? Ask our coaches:

      On-hill Volunteers

      Parents wanting to volunteer on the hill during training sessions will need to purchase a volunteer membership: https://snowreg.com/#!/memberships/freestyle-ab-2024-2025-memberships and submit an E-pic (background check).

      3 STEPS TO REGISTER

      All steps are mandatory to participate!

      Step 1

      Register with Freestyle Canada & Alberta Freestyle at snowreg.com (mandatory for all athletes)

      Choose the license that fits your category:

      • Ensure you are registering in “Alberta” and with “Central Alberta Freestyle Ski Club”. If you already have a license, this step will be skipped.
      • Fundamentals Team- Choose “Club”
      • Freestylerz – Choose “Club” or “Provincial”*
      • Competition Development Team – Choose “Provincial”

      *Talk to coach Sinton if you need clarification. If you purchase the club membership, you can upgrade later to the provincial membership.

      Choose a payment plan:

      • One time payment
      • Three installment payments
        (scroll down and choose the “program name+installment” program title) 

      What you are paying for here:

      • Alberta Freestyle & Freestyle Canada Membership
      • Membership in our club and access to coaching schedule
      • Required insurance coverage

      Step 2

      Download the Team Snap app. (mandatory for all athletes)
      You will receive an invite after you are registered.

      What you are doing:

      • Download the app
      • Make a profile
      • We will send you an invite once the season is ready to begin.

      Step 3

      Purchase the required ski resort season passes.

      What passes do you need?

      Each team has different requirements. You may want to talk to our coaches.

      • Fundamentalz – Requires Canyon Ski Resort only.
      • Freestylerz – Requires Canyon Ski Resort. Winsport & Sunshine Village are required if you plan on attending extra training and camps.
      • Competition Development – Requires Canyon Ski Resort, Winsport & Sunshine Village.

      What about Competitions?

      If you do not buy a season pass to a resort, you will be required to buy day tickets if your athlete attends a competition outside of Canyon Ski Resort, or any of the season passes you have.
